There are no GTA VI cheats. The game has not been published, so there are no codes to enter nor any way to verify any. Any list you find today is made up.
How they have worked historically

While you study the game thoroughly, make sure your console or PC will be up to the task. Discover the best deals on consoles and accessories on our sister website.
In previous installments of the series, cheats were entered with button combinations during gameplay or through the character’s phone, and activating some would temporarily disable trophies and achievements. It is reasonable to expect a similar system, but that is an expectation, not a fact.
When we will actually publish this page
As soon as the game is available and we can verify each code first-hand. Until then, this page exists for the opposite reason: so you don’t fall for fake lists.
What we know about the GTA VI cheat system
Rockstar has said nothing about whether GTA VI will include cheats or how they would be activated. This silence is expected: they have never detailed this system prior to launch in any installment.
What we can do is explain how it has worked historically, so you know what to expect on November 19, 2026.
The two historical methods
Button combination. The classic method since the first 3D GTAs: a specific sequence pressed during gameplay activates the effect instantly. Fast, but easy to enter by accident.
The character’s phone. Introduced in GTA V, it allows dialing a number from the mobile phone in-game. It is slower but more comfortable to remember, and fits better with a game where the phone already fulfills narrative functions.
Given the weight the phone has in GTA VI —the Extended Look shows that even the switch between Jason and Lucia can be activated by messages— it would be reasonable for the mobile method to remain. It is a deduction, not a fact.
What cheats usually do
By categories, according to previous installments:
- Character status: health, armor, wanted level.
- Weaponry: weapon and ammunition packs.
- Vehicles: immediate spawn of a specific vehicle.
- World: weather, gravity, game speed.
- Combat: aiming mode, stamina.
What cheats have never done in the saga is give money directly. It is the most repeated request and the one that has never been fulfilled: in GTA V there was no infinite money code, no matter how much it was advertised in thousands of videos. That detail is important, because it is exactly the hook scams use.
The usual penalty
Activating cheats usually has consequences within the game:
- Achievements and trophies are disabled while they are active, or permanently in the save file.
- They are not saved. When loading the game, they must be entered again.
- They can block missions if used at the wrong time.
And a specific warning for GTA VI: the November 19 launch is exclusively single-player. Once an online component exists, assuming cheats will work there would be a serious mistake. It has never been like that in the saga, and in GTA Online the use of modifications has led to account bans.
How to spot a fake cheat
- It appears before the game is released.
- It asks to download a program, install an application, or register.
- It promises “verified” infinite money with screenshots that do not show the real interface.
- It does not indicate the platform or version of the game.
No legitimate cheat requires downloading anything or providing personal data.
What we will do on launch day
We will publish here the codes that we can verify first-hand, indicating platform and input method. Not before, nor copied from another website.
If on November 19 you find a list of cheats published a few hours after launch on several websites at the same time, with the same codes and without their own screenshots, you already know what happened: someone made them up and the rest copied.
